GAMEHUB

About, privacy & takedowns

What this site is

GAMEHUB is a games-only directory with two kinds of listings, always labeled truthfully on every card:

Play here — games that run on this site. These are open-licence games whose licence (verified against the actual source repository, including bundled assets) permits hosting, self-hosted under /games/ with the licence text shipped in each game's folder — or embeds a rights holder has explicitly authorized in writing. The hub keeps a public listing registry with the licence and verification evidence for every playable title.

Play on official site — live-service games (the .io games, battle royales, shooters and MMOs). A card links to the game's verified official website in a new tab. GAMEHUB has no affiliation with those games or their publishers, does not mirror or proxy them, and never counts them as playable here.

The emulator is a bring-your-own-file utility powered by the open-source EmulatorJS project (GPLv3, self-hosted here). Game files are loaded locally in your browser and are never uploaded to or stored by the hub.

Privacy

The hub ships no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Specifically:

• Favorites and Recently Played are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
• Offline caching: a service worker stores the hub's pages, the games you launch and the emulator engine on your device so they work offline. That cache lives entirely in your browser and can be cleared from your browser settings at any time.
• Official-site games run on their own publishers' websites and are governed by their own privacy policies once you click through.
• The emulator never receives, transmits or stores your game files.

Rights holders & takedowns

If you hold rights in a game listed or hosted here and want it changed or removed, we will act promptly. Every hosted game on this site is here under an open licence verified against its source repository, or an explicit written authorization — but mistakes happen, and removal requests are honoured without argument.

Send a notice identifying the game, your rights in it, and the action requested, via the contact address published in this domain's WHOIS record. Requests are actioned within 24 hours of confirmed receipt, and the listing registry is updated the same day. (Notice-and-notice procedure, Canada.)

Listing policy

No mirrors, no "unblocked" copies, no fan re-uploads, no portal logos implying affiliation, no invented player counts. A game that fails verification — or whose official site goes dark — comes off the hub at the next review.

GAMEHUB is a working name for a project in staging; game availability and this page's contact route are re-verified at each review.
